Prayer Labyrinth

This week we are having a prayer labyrinth in the unfinished children’s building (below the youth room). It will be open Tuesday through Thursday, from 9am to 9pm. I encourage everyone who can to try out this prayer experience.
A prayer labyrinth is usually in the shape of a labyrinth (hence the name), which looks like a really easy maze, with one way to the center and one way out. Along the way, different stations are set up to take you on a journey to let go of the things that hinder you from God. It is a really interesting, spiritual experience. I hope you can make it.

Thanks to all of you who made the effort to put together the Prayer Labyrinth.Because of a dear friend reminding me last night I made the extra effort to stop and take time to experience God’s presence in this unique way. I did not give it the time warranted for the full enjoyment. It was wonderful. I hope we can have it again some time in the future and I hope more folks will participate. I was completely alone. I never saw anyone in the building. It was just the Lord and me. It was very private. The materials/instructions for the experience were excellent. I believe anyone could enjoy this time of fellowship either alone on a very personal level with the Lord or in the company of friends as community praise, prayer and fellowship. It was a holy and reverent atmosphere; peaceful and calming.
