Mission & Strategy

Our mission at LifePoint is to lead people into a growing relationship with Christ that is reflected by life-change. We accomplish this mission by creating environments where people are encouraged to pursue intimacy with God, community with insiders, and influence with outsiders.

We have created three environments that help people take life to the next level.

The Environment of Inspiration - Our Sunday morning worship services are “inspiration” environments. We want our guests to come back, so we do everything with them in mind. These environments are where most people will experience LifePoint Church for the first time, and they serve as the perfect place to introduce newcomers to the concept of “taking life to the next level.” In this environment a person would experience several intentional elements - a relevant message, inspirational worship, and a friendly atmosphere. Our goal of this environment is to “inspire” you to consider taking your life to the next level. We want you to plug into LifePoint Church. More importantly, we want you to plug into the abundant life God desires for you. The inspiration environment seeks to do that.

The Environment of Involvement - This is where you connect with people like yourself. Smaller and more interactive than the environment of inspiration, this is a real-life, genuine opportunity to begin friendships and get involved at LifePoint Church. Married adults have monthly events designed to encourage your hearts, draw you closer together and offer you the essentials for a healthy marriage...all in a casual, fun environment. Single adults have monthly or bimonthly social events held in various locations on Sand Mountain. Each of our student ministries also has this type of environment.

The Environment of Intimacy - This is the most important environment at LifePoint Church. This is the environment where we feel life-change is best accomplished - within the context of a small group called Community Groups. These groups consist of six to eight individuals or five to six couples who meet regularly for Bible study and prayer and commit to accountability, friendship, and support. This is a safe place to open your heart and share your feelings. It’s a safe place to ask tough questions. This is where lasting friendships are made. It’s about commitment and strength and security. And we want to help you get there.
